I've been making cards for as long as I can remember, and when I came across Stampin' Up! at Paperific in 2007, without even attending a workshop or seeing any of the products in action, as soon as I flicked through the catalogue, I knew I was going to join the Stampin' Up! family!
There are so many benefits to joining Stampin' Up! My personal favourite is the huge number of amazing creative friends I have made along the way. Our stamping get togethers are always so lovely!
To learn more about joining, visit my Stampin’ Up! website. There you can read a little bit about becoming a demonstrator and there’s a short video to watch, and if you’re really keen, you can join up right there online.
If you’d like more information first, I’d love to catch up with you and can chat via Zoom or Messenger Video Call. I can tell you what I do and share some ideas with you. You are welcome to attend one of my virtual team nights on the second Thursday night of every month, to meet some of my lovely stamping friends who decided they wanted to be more than just customers too.
Contact me to help you select your fully customisable starter kit. I am your creative coach and I am here to help you along your journey, and you’ll love getting to know everyone in our ever growing team via our online forums and team events!

BECOMING A DEMONSTRATOR FAQ'S
1. What are the minimum sales requirements?
You only need to submit $453 (includes GST) in sales per quarter. That is around an average Stampin’ Up!® workshop! Also, you can submit your sales in any increment you wish and still receive your 20% discount and commission. Working at the second level and upward, you receive 25% instant income (more about that further down).
2. What if I want to do this as a hobby and not necessarily a business?
Stampin’ Up! supports all demonstrators, no matter their goals or the level at which they choose to run their business. If you choose not to hold workshops, you can simply place your own orders and/or collect orders from family and friends to equal the $453 quarterly sales minimum.
3. Can I be my own hostess?
Yes, you can be your own hostess anytime you want. Invite your family and friends into your home and have a workshop. You will be the hostess, receiving the Stampin' Rewards (hostess benefits), as well as the demonstrator, receiving your instant income and commission.
4. How much does it cost to get started as a demonstrator?
The Starter Kit is only $169, and it includes everything you will need to get your business up and running. You select $235.00 in products including stamp sets, ink, paper, ribbon, designer series paper, and Stampin’ Up! give you a free business pack worth $80.00 which includes catalogues, order forms, a training video, and more.
5. How can I make money as a demonstrator?
You can earn money in three ways: instant income (20-25 percent of each order depending on what level you are working at), monthly volume rebates (5–20 percent of total sales), and monthly team commissions (yes, you earn a percentage of your team sales if you recruit people).
6. Do I have to recruit other demonstrators?
No. If you were to recruit demonstrators, you would be paid team commissions on their sales, but this is a perk, not a requirement. There are other huge benefits for recruiting a team too, but we can go into that later! Main thing is, it’s not compulsory or expected.
7. Where will I get project ideas for my workshops? What kind of training can I expect?
Stampin’ Up! provides fantastic training resources filled with project ideas and tips to help you run every aspect of your business, including a bi-monthly publication called Stampin' Success, our demonstrator website, a demonstrator only massive social networking forum called Stampin’ Connection, which features galleries of thousands of project & technique samples, Annual and Seasonal catalogues and promotions, a training DVD, the Demonstrator Manual, and a Product Guide. Our stamping team has team nights, a private team forum, and access to larger team forums from my upline. As a team we have a number of activities you can get involved in if you’d like to build a business, or even if you're just looking for more people to stamp with.
8. Is Stampin’ Up! a well-known, respected company?
Since 1988, Stampin’ Up! has been selling rubber stamps and paper-crafting supplies. In that time, not only have they won industry awards and accolades, but also the loyalty and admiration of demonstrators and customers alike. And that is a trend that they work hard to maintain. You can rest assured that the reputation of Stampin’ Up! will only continue to improve!
9. What if I decide that I don’t like it once I’ve started? Will I be penalized if I quit?
You may choose to stop at anytime, and you will not be penalized. You simply stop placing orders. However, there are many benefits to remaining an active demonstrator.
