AWH 2023-2024 Colour Creations - Moody Mauve

This week the Art With Heart Team explores the amazing new In Colour, Moody Mauve in our Colour Creations Blog Hop.
You are going to love this colour! It goes so well in many of our colour combinations. In our new catalogue, the Moody Mauve is showcased with the other four new In Colors in the Fresh As a Daisy Suite Collection, and I have chosen that suite and a couple of those colours to share with you tonight, along with one of our brand new Colour Refresh Colours.
How pretty is that colour combination!! I cased my card and the colour scheme direct from page 110 of the catalogue. I just made a couple of subtle changes to the card shown in the middle of the page. For example, I made a much larger card - 6" x 5 1/2" so there is more space around the flowers and you get to see more of the Designer Series Paper underneath.
Also, I used Moody Mauve card stock for the base of my card. And I switched out the Pebbled Path circle for a Basic White tag, using the tag die that comes in the Cheerful Daisies Dies.
for my background layer of Bubble Path Pink card, I used the beautiful Fern 3D embossing folder. I am so happy that this embossing folder carried over from the past catalogue.

The Bubble Bath card panel, embossed with the Fern 3D embossing folder, is a gorgeous backdrop for your focal daisies, Kathryn. Lovely use of these oh-so-pretty new products and colours!

Kathryn, that beautiful Fern 3D embossed layer in Bubble Bath looks amazing and makes your daisy arrangement on your card front really pop. I love that you made a square card too - it really suits the layout of your flower and sentiment arrangement.

Kathryn, like you I also love this colour combo, unlike others who are yet to be convinced! Your choice of embossing folder is absolutely perfect for your beautiful card and I love the distressed look as well.

I'm still coming around to Wild Wheat, but I love what you've done with it on your card. It works beautifully in your colour combo. Your embossed and distressed Bubble Bath layer is wonderful.
