Colour Creations Showcase - Granny Apple Green
October 07, 2020
Hey there!
Who wants to see this week's amazing fresh colour creations with beautiful Granny Apple Green?
That's right! The Art With Heart Stampin' Up! team are back this week with our 19th Colour Creations Showcase and it is the beautiful Granny Apple Green, a lovely bright, fresh green just like a summer Granny Smith Apple.
I have done a real mix and match of many of my Stampin' Up! products to create today's projects. And I really love how they came up, looking so fresh.
I selected the stamp set and dies from the Boho Indigo Product Medley on page 9 of the Annual Catalogue and stamped with Granny Apple Green ink, and die cut Granny Apple Green and Garden Green leaves for accents.
I chose a sheet of mostly Granny Apple Green printed paper from the Whale of a Time 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper pack. That is the more gorgeous paper pack ever!
The greeting stamp is from Seaside Notions stamp set, stamped in Granny Apple Green ink on Whisper White cards and die cut with a label die from the lovely Beautiful Boughs Dies.
For my second card, I used the leftover strip of paper from the 6" x 6" DSP together with a piece of Granny Apple Green card , dry embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder, and a piece of Whisper White, dry embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder.
The other pieces on the card are the same as the first card.
Cards are layered on Whisper White, with a Granny Apple Green base card and a Whisper White insert.
To see the rest of the gorgeous Granny Apple Green creations by my talented stamping friends, please hop over to Cathy's blog where you will find all the links to the other blogs. Thanks again Cathy for all the work you do in hosting this Colour Showcase so we can inspire each other and be inspired by the beautiful Stampin' Up! colours!
Please leave me a comment if you would like to, and I look forward to seeing you again next week!

Kathryn both of your gorgeous cards are so fresh and zesty they scream spring and make me feel alive and happy - nature really does that to you doesn't it? I particularly love the extra contrast the addition of Garden Green adds to your second card. Thanks for inspiring us all with your Granny Apple Green card tonight!

Beautiful, Kathryn! I am in love with the Whale of A Time DSP, and the paper you used from that pack looks fab on your cards. The sentiment label on both of your cards is lovely; I haven't even used it, despite having it in my collection for some time. You've done a great job of showcasing this gorgeous green.

Kathryn, I love the added contrast the pop of garden green brings to your granny apple green cards. I'm not sure which card is my favourite though, as they are both lovely.

Stunning cards Kathryn, so much green but they still look amazing! I'm not usually a green person

Both of your cards are lovely Kathryn and I have to confess I hadn't seen that DSP in Whale of a Time. Might have to have another look.

Lovely cards, Kathryn. I like the extra pop of white from the embossed panel on the second card, especially.

Oh my goodness, who would have thought to put Whale of a Time with Boho?!!! I really like the extra embossed texture on your second card though!

Gorgeous cards, Kathryn. I love the bright and fresh monochromatic look to both of your cards. I love the depth of colour from Garden Green - lots to love about these two cards.

Your cards are so lovely! I have wavered so much over the Whale DSP - I better hurry up and decide before the sale ends!

It's a conspiracy.....more gorgeous cards made with the Boho Indigo Product Medley. I love both of your monochromatic cards Kathryn. The paper from Whale of a Time is a perfect background and I love all the texture you created on the second card.
