Colour Creations - Cinnamon Cider
August 05, 2020
Welcome back to Week 10 of Colour Creations Showcase!
This week the talented crafters are exploring everything warm and delicious with Cinnamon Cider, one of our new 2020-2022 In Colors.
I was amazed how many of our packs of Designer Series Papers include Cinnamon Cider in their designs - it’s clearly a really versatile colour.
This week, I could not go past the Gnome For The Holidays stamp set again. With Melbourne going into Stage 4 lockdown, I have SO many more “No Place like Gnome” cards to make!
I don’t have the Cinnamon Cider Blends or ink pad, but I found the Bronze and Ivory Blends worked beautifully as a substitute, and on one card I have used Daffodil Delight for a cheerful, uplifting pop of colour, and on the other I have used Mint Macaron as a soft, gentle alternative.
How is this sweet girl gnome on the Cinnamon Cider Memories and More Card, with a layer of Cinnamon Cider stripes from the Flower For Every Season Designer Series Paper pack?
The matching envelopes add a very nice touch!
This cheerful guy is on a Whisper White card base with a different design of paper from the Flowers For Every Season pack for the layer on the bottom half of the card front. Did you realise that the sunflower centres are also Cinnamon Cider?
How welcoming is that Daffodil Delight door? I bet it’s warm and cozy in there!
A little added touch to each card is the door knob for which I used one of our gorgeous new shiny gold gems. So pretty!
Thanks for stopping by to visit my gnomes! They hope you are staying safe and well!
To see the rest of the gorgeous Cinnamon Cider creations, please pop over to Cathy’s blog.
Take care, and see you soon with ink on your fingers ( hopefully soon!!).
Hugs,
Kathryn xx
Wonderful colouring and choice of colour combination, Kathryn, and yes, those door knobs are the perfect addition!

Great cards, Kathryn. I especially like the little girl gnome card, and the softer, slightly retro, colours!

These are pretty cute, Kathryn. I like the sunflowers behind, like he lives on the edge of a sunflower field, and the yellow door is very welcoming.
