Social Stamping - HELLO!

Social Stamping Headeer

HELLO!!

This evening I'm joining with a few stamping friends to send some happy hello's soaring all over the internet, in the form of gorgeous papercraft projects.

The full list of participants is HERE.

I have a cute and very simple idea for you using the 3" x 3" Best Dressed Note-cards in our mini catalogue. I have teamed them with cute characters from the Birthday Bonanza Suite - in this instance, the Designer Series Paper, die-cut with the Bonanza Dies.

Birthday Bonanza Note Cards (1)

In this crazy insane time of being stuck at home, these are really quick and easy cards to make. So if your brain is feeling fried from the over-saturation of Covid19 updates, and you're feeling unmotivated and lacking inspiration to craft, you could easily whip up a stack of these in no time.  There are 24 cards and envelopes in the Note Card pack, imagine brightening 24 lives when you send them out.

Or better still - give them to a crafty tween to make a heap for her home school art class!

Birthday Bonanza Note Cards (3)

For this card I've used the Stamparatus to step the greeting evenly down the side of the card, and stamped in Calypso Coral Ink.  The hello stamp is from the Free as a Bird stamp set.

Birthday Bonanza Note Cards (2)

The toucan card has the greeting stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and flowers stamped in Daffodil Delight ink. The flower stamp is a tiny one from the Thoughtful Blooms Sale-a-bration stamp set.

Birthday Bonanza Note Cards (4)

On this card the greeting is stamped with the Memento Ink Pad and the flowers are stamped with Highland Heather.  Oopsie - I must have wobbled on one of those flower petals!

Parisian Blossoms Suite

Are you ready for the prettiest thing ever?

As you may remember, last Saturday was our Stamper's Therapy Day - and thank goodness it was such a beautiful day out with our stamping friends, because given what's happening right now, we may not have another stamping get together for some months.

I put together a few displays for the day and I am SO, SO in love with these ones using the Parisian Blossoms Product Suite. So many beautiful products all designed to coordinate.

Parisian Blossoms Suite (1)

Firstly I cased this beautiful sampler from one shared by Joanne Mulligan as her display project for On Stage. I used a different selection of the Parisian Blossoms Designer Series Paper (to show off more of it) and where Joanne used the Label Me Lovely Punch and Layering Ovals Dies, I used the Stitched Rectangles, Stitched So Sweetly and Ornate Frames Dies. I also selected different greeting stamps and added a pile of vellum die-cut flowers.

Here are some close ups for you.

Parisian Blossoms Suite (2)

Don't you love how the Champagne Foil and Rhinestones sparkle?

Parisian Blossoms Suite (3)

The Cherry Blossoms Dies have four small flower dies with tiny embossing lines on each petal which are perfect for cutting and embossing from vellum.

Parisian Blossoms Suite (4)

The Ornate Frames Dies are a perfect accompaniment to this suite.  The flowers are coloured with the Stampin' Blends - the Stampin' Up! range of Alcohol markers.

Parisian Blossoms Suite (5)

For this panel I used Partial Die Cutting to create a Stitched Rectangle that fit inside one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Parisian Blossoms Suite (6)

Coloured the image with Light & Dark Pool Party and Light and Dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends and die-cut them with the coordinating dies. Double stamped the background text on the oval with Pool Party Ink.

I really had fun making such a pretty project!  Here are the items I used. If you click anyone of them it will take you to a bigger image in the online shop.
