Have you seen the Painted Poppies stamp set in the Stampin' Up! 2020 Mini Catalogue?
Product List
There is a whole suite of poppy products but today I wanted to just look at the one stamp set - because, you know, sometimes you don't need the whole lot . . . .
We have become so reliant on the coordinating dies, the matching Designer Series Paper and all the embellishments, that sometimes we forget to even stamp, so I challenged myself to create a card that didn't have ALL the trimmings, and used up the card-stock from my stash, an embossing folder that we've had in our catalogue for a couple of years and just stamps and ink.
What do you think?
The mat layers are Cherry Cobbler, Real Red and Calypso Coral and the Stampin' Blends for the colouring are Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie, Read Red and Cherry Cobbler with Granny Apple Green.
I actually made 6 of them for a swap, but forgot to make an extra one for myself! I'll have to get to it and make another!
If you would like to have a go at replicating these cards, the products I have used are listed below. If you don't have a particular one, click on one of the thumbnails and it will take you straight to the online shop where you can purchase it.
Don't forget I am taking part in Creative 8 Wow Tutorials every month this year, so every order for $50 of product will receive the Creative 8 tutorial pdf via email as a thank you. The February Creative 8 is available now.
