Vintage Leaves for Autumn

Our liquid amber tree has been heavily dropping it's autumn canopy in thick drifts of leaves all over the driveway and front garden. The colours are spectacular as usual, and having been away in Italy for 2 weeks, we nearly missed it!
Yep, that's right, it's almost done, the tree is nearly bare.
It makes me feel a bit like how I felt 2 days ago when I saw a gorgeous card posted on Facebook using the Vintage Leaves stamp set and the person mentioned the stamp set was retiring out of the Stampin' Up! annual catalogue and would no longer be available after Thursday this week!
What?? No Way!!
How did I miss that??
I LOVE that stamp set and matching framelits! I can't believe they are being retired off! I haven't even finished making cards with that set!
Only a few weeks ago I was trialing the Stampin' Slap technique with the Vintage Leaves stamp set and the Stamparatus. So much fun and so effective, and very reminiscent of how my garden looks now!
Don't you just love the watercolourly effect and those beautiful autumn colours?
This splattery technique is so much fun and can be achieved so easily with the new Stamparatus, some inkspots or Stampin' Write markers and a mist bottle of water.

I can see that I need to use these beautiful pieces to make some finished cards in the next day or so!
