Time to Kiss 2016 Goodbye

It's nearly time to wish you Happy New Year, but before the clock ticks down to midnight, I need your help!

I have just $180 to go to reach my 2016 sales goal. That's only 2 x $90 orders, or 4 people each ordering a nice stamp set at $45!!
Help me out please!

The Christmas catalogue ends in a couple of days and lots of items are already sold out, but there are still some great discounts available in the online shop. Please go and browse and if its at all possible place an order online this evening before the gold coach turns back into a pumpkin at midnight and the year clicks over to 2017.

I promise a Cinderella inspired gift for each person ordering before midnight tonight.

Swirly Bird Card Making Ideas

Just a really quick post today, to share a rebuild of an old favourite!

When the latest Stampin' Up! annual catalogue came out in June, I think just about every demonstrator pre-ordered Swirly Bird Stamp Set and Thinlets.

I've seen a few variations of this card now, and this is the 4th or 5th one I have made, but it never ceases to be a fun card to make, and to get a great reaction from the recipient.

Welcome Swirly Bird Minnie!

Swirly Bird Minnie Mouse

Featuring Flirty Flamingo Designer Series Paper and Ruched Ribbon, Petite Pansy Punch and Bow Builder Punch, this is a fun card to make, and easy to do with the 8-12 year old girls who would probably most love it!

Give it a try today!

Fashion Design in Cardmaking!

So, I really felt like I was in the Chanel studios lately, knocking out some sample sheets with colours and patterns!

And that is the one utterly amazing thing about Stampin' Up!s product range! They make it so darn easy to feel like a real artist, someone with a real flair for amazing combinations of colours, shapes, patterns . . .

Take a look at my fashion spread!

Beautiful You cards (3)

Seriously, you just can't create an ugly card when you put Stampin' Up!s co-ordinating products together!

Beautiful You cards (2)

The recipients of these two beautitul copper based cards are actually two of my team members who recently advanced in title from Bronze to Bronze Elite. We don't have bronze in our colour pallet at the moment, but I'm sure you'll agree that the Copper Foil makes an awesome substitute.

I've used the Layering Squares Framelits, Copper Foil Card, Beautiful You Stamp Set and Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper, along with a touch of Cajun Craze ink to finish these cards, which I think are just really lovely!

I can see myself doing lots of these types of cards in classes early next year. What do you think? Would you like to come along and get your haute couture hat on?

Hey Chick! Happy Birthday

Cardmaking is never more fun than when you have a brand new, very funky chicken stamp set coming out, that teams so, so well with some of our patterned paper, bringing back very happy memories of a pair of amazing patchwork chookie cushions I made for my cousin for her wedding 10 years ago!

And it's even better when one of the biggest chook lovers in the family happens to be having a birthday, and you just HAVE to MAKE her a CHOOKIE card right??

CRAZY but oh so fun!!

2016-11-27 07.55.33 (499x281)

I was going to use these images on a card with a stamp saying "Welcome to our Stampin' Up! team", but the birthday came before the new recruit, and I did just laugh and laugh as I was making this card. It really is kind of gleefully silly.

So, I have used the new Hey Chick! Sale-a-bration stamp set - available free with qualifying order during Sale-a-bration (January 4th - March 31st), and the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack (available now).

I loved this! I think I might have to do a Facebook Live video one day soon, showing you how I did it!

Do you love it?

Beautiful You Cardmaking Ideas

I so love being one of the first to see new products coming out in Stampin' Up! catalogues! It is definitely one of the perks of being a member of the Stampin' Up! family, and also attending Stampin' Up! events, where you may be among a very small group of the first people in the world to receive a new stamp set in the Prize Patrol.

I think I had all the luck in Brisbane recently when I scored THE most coveted stamp set! Beautiful You . . . it's not available to purchase until January 4th, but I've already made half a dozen cards with it. These ones are special cards!

Several of my team members have advanced in title from Bronze to Bronze Elite, and from Bronze Elite to Silver in the last two months and its been my great joy to make them each a celebration card using the Beautiful You stamp set. I shared one earlier this month - you can see it here - and on Saturday I was able to hand another over to my newest Silver team member.

Wow, I adore these glamorous  Dior-like images! I teamed the silver (Smoky Slate) with Mint Macaron and Basic Grey for this card.

The gorgeous ribbon is in the Holiday Catalogue in the Paisley's Product Suite. Congratulations Heidi Bell for building your Stampin' Up! business!

If you can't possibly wait until January 4th to get your hands on this stamp set, did you know that brand new Stampin' Up! recruits can order pre-order product in their starter kit from December 1st?

By joining after December 1st you get to choose all brand new Occasions Catalogue products in your starter kit. You will also be able to pre-earn Sale-a-bration sets with any other order you place during December (one free Sale-a-bration item for each $90 product order). And you will receive new Occasions Catalogues in your starter kit to give to friends.

Who knows, one day you might be receiving a Title Advancement Celebration card from me!
