Retiring List - Very Last Days

There are just a few short days left of the 2014-2015 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

This really does mean that any stamp sets or accessories that are not being continued in the new catalogue will definitely no longer be available after the 2nd June.

I have done a couple of re-visits of some favourite products so scroll down through my posts if you would like a reminder of what we did with them.

If you want to cut to the chase and see what's still available, then pop on through to my online shop - in the Retiring category, you will see exactly what is going. Place an online order before 11pm on the 2nd of June if you don't want to miss any of these great products.

See you soon!

Farewelling My Favourites - Blog Hop

Art with Heart Blog Hop Badge (250x250)Welcome to another Art With Heart team blog hop. You may have come here from Kayleen's blog, or you may be starting here - either way, welcome.

Did you know there are just 13 days left to purchase stamp sets and accessories from the 2014-2015 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue and the 2015 Occasions Mini Catalogue?

Many products that are not carrying over into the new catalogue have been reduced in price and quite a few are sold out already. Today we are focussing on these retiring products because among them are some real favourites, and if you had them on your wishlist, we don't want you to get two weeks down the track and realise you have missed out on them as they are no longer available.

What products have I chosen to take a trip down Memory Lane with today?

Daydream Medallion Stamp Set

Yep, that's the Daydream Medallions Stamp Set from page 70 of the current catalogue, available in Wood Mount or Clear Mount.

And I've teamed it with a stack of left over pieces from one of our very popular kits this past year.

Everyday Occasions kit1 (499x499)
Yep, that's our Everyday Occasions Cardmaking Kit. Enough pieces to make 20 cards. AND a fantastic stamp set included in the set. Have you ever taken close notice?

If you haven't really noticed it, I have to confess to you right now, that I thought this whole kit was worth buying, solely for the stamp set - it's one of the best greeting sets we've had this past year.

And do you know about the Angel Policy?  If you are selling any handmade cards with stamped images, you must acknowledge the copyright of the company the image came from, so in the case of Stampin' Up!, if you are selling cards made with Stampin' Up! stamps, on the back of the card you must have the Stampin' Up! copyright.

What I totally love about the stamp set in this card kit is it provides a stamp with the copyright image on it! Love that! and it's a cute stamp too!

So, what have been making with the leftover pieces out of my Everyday Occasions kit, and how did I match them up with Daydream Medallions stamp set?

Well, I decided to finally scrapbook some more of my wedding photos! (Yes, miracles do happen!).

You can see that I chose two main colours from the kit - Island Indigo and Baked Brown Sugar and mixed and matched them as base sheets. Then I used some of the card bases out of the kit for the main layer on my layouts.

I picked out Pool Party, Baked Brown Sugar, Island Indigo, Whisper White and shiny silver Glimmer Paper die cuts from the kit to add as headings, journalling tabs and embellishments, and I stamped Daydream Medallions in Crumb Cake and Whisper White to break up the background.

20150520_180102 (448x450)

Most of these layouts have hidden journalling in the form of a pull out tab behind the photo.

20150520_180122 (141x250)          20150520_175951 (136x250)

Did you notice on some of them I have used the stamp "Love" also from the kit, and on the layout with my brother, on the label at the top left, I inked up just the "L" so I had the same font, but hand wrote the rest of the word so I had Laugh.

If you are wondering about the titles - that's Epic Alphabet stamp set - a photopolymer stamp set that is carrying over (yippee!!!). That was a lot of fun to use!.

Alright! Have I inspired you to get in touch with your regular demonstrator and order the Everyday Occasions Cardmaking Kit or the Daydream Medallions stamp set before the 2nd of June? Go and talk to her right now because all the retiring items are only available while stocks last.

Back to the Blog Hop - who are you visiting next? That would be the gorgeous, Jenny Van Dijk.

Visiting Retiring Favourites

I've been having a real trip down memory lane today!

Do you know there are only two weeks left of our 2014-2015 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue and our 2015 Occasions Catalogue.?

When the retiring product list came out a couple of weeks back, I had the normal few moments of desperate sadness as I realised some of my very favourite and most used stamp sets were not carrying over into the new catalogue.

This morning I have been scrolling back through my blog from the last 18 months or so to see what I did with some of my favourite sets, and I thought I would just re-share some of those creative moments with you.

If you click on the name of the stamp set at the start of each line, it will take you to the blog post and pictures of what I made with them.

Stippled Blossoms and I Love Lace stamp sets -

I adore both these stamp sets and they will be going in my forever stash!

Life in the Forest -

I was never going to get this stamp set - but when the Blendabilities came out, it was such a cute set for colouring - I already miss the Blendabilities like someone chopped my arm off, and since there are still some young ones in our family, including one who adores foxes, I might have to hold onto this stamp set in my secret stash too!

Chalk Talk Stamp set -

This has been one of my most used stamp sets - I can't believe it is retiring! Since the gorgeous Zoo Babies stamp set and the Chalk Talk Framelits are carrying over, I might have to see if there is another stamp I can use to make a new version of this most loved train project.

I also used Chalk Talk Stamp Set and framelits for my display poster that I created for the 2013 Girls Only Festival.

Hearts Framelits -

Sometimes an item goes out of the catalogue and we demonstrators just shake our heads and say "WHY?????" These hearts framelits have been so well loved and used.

Baby, We’ve Grown stamp set.

When I first saw this stamp set, I thought - cute, but it didn't grab me. The VERY first card I saw made with it, had me putting it on my order form! So glad I did - these cards have been my most ever clicked on cards on Pinterest!!

Well, that all just seems a bit sad, but the very exciting news for you, is that if you don't own any of these stamp sets and are now seeing them in a new light, YOU CAN STILL GET THEM.

Yes, that's right, the retiring product list runs through until and including June 2nd, (while products last) so if you do want to purchase one of these stamp sets or the Hearts Framelits, visit my online shop and grab yourself a bargain, while they are still there to be grabbed.

If you'd like help placing an order, please contact me, or better still, come to my Retiring Party in Croydon North this coming Saturday afternoon between 1pm-4pm. RSVP online here.

If you'd like to see more Retiring Favourites, pop back on Thursday morning when I am participating in a blog hop with some of my fellow demonstrators to take a trip down memory lane with some of our favourite stamp sets.

See you then,

Kathryn
