Card Making Ideas - Stampin' Up!
November 03, 2014
Hey there, how are you going fitting in some creative time in the lead up to the busiest time of the year?
This is the time of the year when cardmakers I know, all go into production line mode, churning out dozens of cards at a time.
I'm not immune to it myself, and just over the last few days since Caulfield Stitches and Craft Show finished, I've had a couple of different production lines running!
The first was at our kiosk at Chirnside Park where the projects have to be fairly simple and not require too many materials - as we have limited space and have to cart it all in and out.
Last Friday I thought I'd have a play with Washi Tape.
Washi Tape???? Well!!! Those of you who know me well, know that I have bought every roll of Washi Tape that Stampin' Up! have ever put out, but have I ever used it? . . . . ummmmm, no!
Well, that's now fixed! On Friday, I made a firm start on 20 Washi Tape cards! They needed some small flowers and rhinestones to finish them off, which I did today, so 20 cards completed in a very short time!
Another production line that's been happening lately is the whole Christmas card thing . . . yowsers - how many people are on your list?
In case you missed it, we ran a card class at Caulfield Stitches and Craft Show last weekend, over Thursday to Sunday. Some of you weren't able to attend, so I am running this class again, in two timeslots.
One is this Friday morning 7th November, 10 a.m. in my stamping room in Croydon North. We will be making four cards - 2 each of 2 designs, but lots of extra inpiration.
For those who can't attend on a weekday, I will be running it again next Saturday 15th at 2 p.m. also in Croydon North. Please R.S.V.P. to 0418 361 931
