ESAD New Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

ESAD Blog Hop (499x245)

Woohoo! Yes it's NEW catalogue time again, and that means its Blog Hop time again! Welcome to Katlodesigns blog. You could be starting here, or you may have just come from Monique's blog. At the end of my post you will find the link to the next blog - you can just keep following the links until you do a full circle.

But firstly? What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and is a facebook group just for Australian and New Zealand Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrators.

We love what we do & love to share with our customers, friends and blog visitors. We also share what we love in our ESAD Demonstrator community, through swaps, challenges, sharing knowledge, ideas & friendship and we're always there to help and support each other.

So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to leave me a comment with your email address then I'll contact you with information on how to join our group.

What have I been playing with from the new catalogue?

New Colours!! Has every single person in the blog hop used Blackberry Bliss? It seems to be the most popular colour ever released by Stampin' Up! Everyone's raving about it - and me too! I love it!

Stipple Blossom Stampin Up card

I've used the Stippled Blossom stamp set and matched Blackberry Bliss with Perfect Plum, Pear Pizzazz and another new colour Mossy Meadow. Love the deep rich tones of the two new colours!

I was wanting to use the gorgeous new background stamp I LOVE LACE, so I decided to team it with Stippled Blossom and created several cards in different colour combinations - lots of fun!

I Love Lace Stampin Up card (5)

In this card, the background is Blushing Bride with the main images stamped in Strawberry Slush, Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive. The bottom of the image has been fussy cut, whilst the top section was lined up in the Deco Labels Framelit in order to just cut a portion of it.

I love this two set stamp set, and my Stamp-a-ma-jig sure gets a work out!

I Love Lace Stampin Up card (2)

I 've used the same framelit and stamps for this card but changed colours to Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay with just a touch of Pear Pizzazz.

If you look closely, you'll see this card has lots of our Pearl Jewels dotted over it.

Another colour change to Calyspo Coral and Crisp Canteloupe with Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive.

And then back to Blackberry Bliss, and this time I changed over to Tea Party Stamp Set and made a card and matching gift tag with some Brushed Silver Card stock and silver ribbon accents.

I Love Lace Stampin Up card (1)

A couple of punches came out for these two - the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border (see along the bottom of the tag) and our two butterfly punches.

I've been doing a few more masculine cards lately, so it was really lovely to be able to create a few really pretty feminine cards - and use some stamp sets that I haven't played with much.

Well, that's me - now it's time to leave a comment below and then hop onto the next blog - that of Narelle Hoggard. Click on her name to go there! Enjoy the rest of this creative journey!

Out & About Stamping!

My team and I are at Chirnside Park Shopping Centre today, so if you're down that way, pop in and see us! We'd love to see you and show off what we've been doing!

Blog Hop - tomorrow night 6.30pm there's going to be a new catalogue blog hop, showing off some of the awesome products in our new Annual Catalogue. You can join the blog hop right here on my blog. It will give you lots of inspiration and ideas.

Looking for something to do this Sunday afternoon?

I'm holding a Mystery Hostess type, fun free workshop in my stamping room, and for the first time ever, I am doing lots of give aways - goodies to those who bring a friend I've not met before, goodies to people who order for the first time, free postage to anyone ordering over $50 in products AND I'm divvying up the hostess benefits - it's going to be such fun!

If you're interested in a bit of a creating session, RSVP on my events page on Facebook by clicking here or on my website by clicking here.

Hope to see you soon, with INK on your fingers!

Happy New Catalogue! Stampin' Up! Shines!

Catalogue

So excited the gorgeous new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue starts today - so many beautiful things in it!

As a demonstrator I got to preorder a few items to play with, and also was able to redeem some new items through last years awards and achievements - gotta love FREE stuff!!

Two of the stamp sets I received for free are Traveler and Work of Art. They only arrived just over a week ago so I haven't had much time to play with them yet, but I did find some really inspiring ideas on line to help me whip up a couple of cards really quickly so I'd have something to show you!

Traveler Stampin Up

Two of these ideas for Traveler cards came from Deb Valder in NY. She obviously loves this stamp set too!

I started making pretty rainbow cards with Work of Art stamp set - actually I got carried away and made about 10, but I have finished them yet - they need a greeting stamp and maybe some other embellishments - this is what they look like so far LOL!

Work of Art Rainbows Stampin Up

Then I caught up with some of my team for some casual stamping and we had a special guest who had been using the Work of Art Stamp set a bit more than me, so I "borrowed" some of her ideas to remind myself how versatile this stamp set is - love these!  Oh, but by the way - they are not finished yet either - and nowhere near as good as the ones Michelle Corbett showed us - but I just couldn't resist giving you a sneak peak!

Work of Art Stampin Up

You can see new catalogue items online here or download a copy of the (rather large) pdf here.

The Annual Catalogue sells for $7.00 plus postage of $5.95. If you are like me, you probably find it much easier to flick through a hard copy catalogue, mark the pages of stamp sets you already have or on your wish list, stick sticky notes everywhere, and have it with you as a great reference when sitting down to create a few cards.

I know I find that much easier than trying to read anything online! If you are an Australian resident and would like to order a hardcopy of the catalogue for yourself, you can do so here. Or you may email me [email protected] with your details to order one for you.

Anyone ordering a hard copy catalogue from my store in July will receive a gift voucher for free postage on your next order from me. So what are you waiting for - order your hard copy catalogue today!

Got crafting to do! See you soon with ink on your fingers!
