End of March Madness!

Hey there!

Firstly, HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to VICKI MARTINEZ from Templestowe for winning first prize in our Prize Draw at the Melbourne Women’s Expo at the Royal Exhibition Building last weekend. Vicki wins a lovely basket of Stampin’ Up! goodies.

Did you know March is my birthday month? Not my joining Stampin’ Up! birthday – my actual birthday!

I’ve had a quieter start to this year thanks to focusing on a few family things (which luckily a business like Stampin’ Up! allows me the flexibility to do) but things are settling down now, and before my birthday month is completely over, I wanted to throw myself a bit of a Stampin’ Party!

Hence I am introducing - End of March Madness, starting with a Hip Hip Hooray party at my place next Saturday afternoon.

Hip Hip Hooray is an AWESOME new card kit from Stampin’ Up! It’s fully self-contained – ie, it has stamps, ink, card, bakers twine, card bases, envelopes, clips, dimensional dots & five sheets of funky self-adhesive die-cut cardstock stickers to make 20 fun cards.

Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit is perfect for people new to stamping or card making, and yet the finished cards are professional, fun and funky.

How does the Hip Hip Hooray Party work?

Register with me and purchase your kit ($34.95) via credit card, bank transfer or paypal – (I can email you a paypal invoice), turn up on Saturday afternoon by 2pm, then as a group we will sit down in my classroom, assemble our stamps, I will show you which pieces to stamp and help you assemble your 20 cards. There is plenty of room for 8 people seated comfortably and I have eight kits in stock so don’t wait, let me know today if you’d like to give stamping and card making a go and see what it’s all about.

If you’re shy, why not ask a friend to come with you? Places are limited to eight, so get in quick if there are two of you. I will throw in tea, coffee and a snack and you will go home with a smile on your face, 20 finished cards, a stamp set, ink spot and any leftover pieces from the kit, having had a very fun afternoon!

Did I mention it works out at only $1.75 per card for 20 cards! Bargain!!

Hip Hip Hooray

I need to know if you are coming as there are only eight places available, so please rsvp to this email, or phone me on 0418 361 931.

Again, the kit cost is just $34.95* per person, and you get everything you need to make 20 cards! We are going to have so much fun. My stamping room is at the back of my house and is very easy to find off Yarra Road in Croydon North, so don’t hesitate, reserve your place now.

Oh, and since it’s my birthday month, you are very welcome to bring me a birthday card! LOL

*If you can’t make the class, you can order a kit from my online store, however you will be charged $5.95 postage on top of the $34.95.

 What else is happening for End of March Madness?

I will be running several new classes over the next couple of weeks, as well as the 50-50 promotion.

What the heck is the 50-50 promotion?

The 50-50 board has 50 numbered squares on it from one to fifty. Every time someone orders product valued at $50 or more, their name goes on a square. When the board is full, a random number draw will decide which person receives a $50 gift voucher from me to spend on any current Stampin’ Up! products. The voucher is valid until the 31st July 2014 so you will be able to save it to order from the brand new catalogue in July if you like!

The Stamp Club girls met this week, and their minimum required order to be in Stamp Club is $50 each month, so all of the Stamp Club ladies have already got their name on the 50-50 board, once, twice or even three times depending on their order total.

Getting your name on the board applies to online orders, as well as phone or email orders, or orders placed at classes, parties or workshops.

So if you’ve been thinking of placing an order, now’s the time to so and get your name on the 50-50 board to be in with a chance to receive a $50 voucher.

New Classes:

Birthday Bash Bundle (4)

How much does all this glorious papercrafting cost?

* Five hours of stamping
* Detailed instructions and samples
* A kit worth nearly $150.00
* Tea, Coffee & snacks

You might pay up to $300 for this elsewhere, but you won't pay $250, or even $200 for this fantastic class!

In true end of March Madness Style, I'm offering this class at a steal.

You won’t even pay $150, and you get to take home almost that amount in product!

This 5 hour class will be available for just $135 per person. That's only $3.35 per card for 40 cards and you'll have plenty of leftover supplies as well as a 5 beautiful Stampin’ Write Markers and TWO stamp sets to take home!

Birthday Bash Bundle (5)

I can take payment by credit card over the phone, online bank transfer or Paypal.

Register today, and please let me know if you already own the In Colour Markers or the Banner Blast stamp set, as we will substitute those for other items of the same value. You will also need to nominate Wood Block or Clear Mount stamp sets. If you order Clear Mount stamps, you will need to bring your own clear blocks to the class.

If you aren’t able to attend on a weekday, this class will also run Saturday 12th April.

I will send a reminder of these upcoming events in the next week, and my April Newsletter will be coming out in a week or so too. Don’t forget, Sale-a-bration ends on 31st March and I will be taking Sale-a-bration orders right up to close of business on that day.

See you soon with ink on your fingers!

Kathryn

It's MY Birthday and the gifts are YOURS!

Have you been reading my blog right from when I started blogging back in 2009? If you have, then you may remember the 50-50 board we ran over several months of 2009 (boy! that long ago!!).

50-50 board

Here's the original post about it.

Well, today is my birthday, and to celebrate, I have decided to run another 50-50! It's so exciting as it means at the end of March, one lucky person will win a $50 Stampin' Up! shopping spree on me!

All you have to do is order $50 or more of Stampin' Up! products from me until the end of March (you can email or phone me, or shop via my online shop) and for each $50 of products you order, your name will go onto a square on the board. A random draw will determine which number between 1 & 50 is the winner and the person whose name is on that square at the end of March will receive a $50 shopping spree! Too easy, right?

But wait there's more! If your number is drawn and you have liked and shared this post on FB or Pinterest before 31st March you will also get an extra gift from me!

And don't forget, if your order is above $90 in products, you can also select a free Sale-a-bration item. Too much good FREE stuff!! LOL

So what are you waiting for? Share and like this post now, place your qualifying order and get your name on that 50-50 board for a chance to receive $50 of products from Stampin' Up!

Stampin' Up! Chalk Talk Choo Choo!

I love the Chalk Talk Bundle from Stampin' Up!

For our major craft shows in October last year, I created a whole poster of cards and a banner featuring this awesome set.

Chalk Talk Bundle

Well, I haven't gotten bored with it yet! I'm still using it regularly and still loving it!

I was recently looking for some ideas to use Zoo Babies stamp set and I came across a super cute idea by Susan Campfield - www.suestampfield.com.

Of course the idea grew very fast from two carriages to one in each of the In-colours, but this time I decided to steer away from Baked Brown Sugar and use So Saffron instead.

Chalk Talk Bundle Train (1)

I just love how there are so many cute animals to choose from in the Zoo Babies set!

Chalk Talk Bundle Train (3)

These are really simple and fun to make and how cute would that look as the centrepiece at a kids birthday party - and at the end of the day each child gets to take a train carriage home!

If you haven't purchased the Chalk Talk Stamp Set or Framelits yet, did you know you can get it with a 15% discount if you buy both the stamps & framelits as a bundle?

You can order these items by emailing or texting me, or if you are a FB user, send me a private message. If you'd prefer to order them yourself, it's easy with our online shopping.

What are you waiting for? Get your Chalk Talk stamp set & framelits at 15% off by ordering the bundle today.

Stampin' Up! Heart Framelits Gift Box

For my Stamp Club girls last week, we worked on a special project - and the timing was perfect as it meant my finished sample could also be used on my team's display at the Melbourne Scrapbook & Papercraft Expo.

It was a little late for Valentines Day, but we decided this project would make a great gift anytime - especially if it's filled with chocolate!

Heart Framelits Giftbox (1)

To create this box, you need the Stampin' Up! Hearts Collection Framelits. You will cut two large scallop hearts from stiff card, then two of the largest plain hearts in stiff card and also in patterned paper.

You also need strips of card two inches wide for the sides of the box and lid.

For this project I used Naturals White Card stock, Pistachio Pudding Card Stock and the patterned paper comes from the Sweet Sorbet Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper pack.

Heart Framelits Giftbox (2)

The Chalk Talk Stamp Set & Framelit bundle also came into action with this gift box, and some stamping with Wild Wasabi ink, together with some scraps of Wild Wasabi card.

To draw your eye to the Spiral Flower on the lid - created using the new Spiral Flower Originals Die, I added a tiny bit of Dazzling Details to some of the petals - you've just got to have that extra bit of bling!

Heart Framelits Giftbox (3)

I just love how the finished project looks and I can't wait to make some more of these - I've already got the next one all cut out ready to go, using Island Indigo card and the Watercolour Wonder DSP.

The Chalk Talk Bundle tag on this box is one of my most used stamps and framelits at the moment, so I will be back again soon to show you what else I have created using that bundle. It's a really super cute project and I know you're going to love it!

If you don't want to miss any of my creative ideas, make sure you subscribe to this blogs feed by clicking on the link on the top left which says "Subscribe to this blog's feed".

See you soon!
