Button Buddies - more old favourites!
June 26, 2013
Well, I promised more Button Buddies cards - we really did have fun with these last week!
As we are undergoing a Colour Refresh with the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, all our containers of buttons that relate to colour families are retiring and we are getting all new buttons.
Now I love buttons and I tend to hoard them, and hold onto them possessively, but I seriously need to make room for NEW buttons, so last week, I grabbed out all the old lovely rainbow of colours (years worth!!) and tipped them all into a bowl to share with my Stamp Club ladies on Thursday night, and I took a big handful to share with my workshop ladies on Friday night.
The buttons just really take the Button Buddies card to the next level don't they? How cute is that and how much does it "Pop" with those lovely buttons adorning the centre of each flower?
With this card and the next, I liked the simplicity and the lovely bright colours so much, and since neither of these are going to go onto my display board (the stamp set is retiring so there's no point displaying it), I decided to leave greetings off these two until such time as an occasion arises where I'd like to give them to someone. Then I can just stamp a sentiment, add a background layer and attach it to the card front.
How cute are those snails!!
These two cards also feature our Designer Series Paper - most of which is retiring and many packs of which are discounted 20% or even 40%.
Here are the retiring lists - one of stamps and one of accessories. Make sure you check them and place your orders as soon as possible.

I'll be at Chirnside Park shopping centre this Friday 9am-5pm, come down and see what we are doing - you might even get a bit of a sneak peak at some new stuff! LOL
Hope to see you there! And don't forget to check my Special Events pages for the New Catalogue Parties which are being held next week!
