Day Two - Twelve Days of Christmas
December 07, 2012
On the second day of Christmas my true love sent to me, the Caulfield Craft and Sewing Show!!
Oh my goodness! Did I, or didn't I, spend half of September and October making projects and posters and frantically getting ready for what has to be the biggest four days of our year!
Genna Gifford and I shared the Stampin' Up! stand at the show with our teams and we both did two days each at the actual show, which several of our team members did too. What an exhausting, exhilirating, inspiring time!
Each demonstrator taking a day on the stand had to provide a poster of cards on some sort of theme, a demonstration and hopefully some 3D items and scrapbook layouts for the displays. Everyone put in such a massive effort and the stand looked terrific. We had such amazing feedback from all the lovely people who stopped by to chat to us - if you were one of them, thanks so much for visiting us!
Here I am demonstrating a spot of watercolouring - one of my favourite techniques!
My lovely mother Jenny helped out on the stand this year - what a treasure she is - and everyone loved her demonstration with the Elegant Bird Die!
Preparing for the show was an awesome time to make stacks of new Christmas items and try some of the fabulous products in the Holiday Traditions Catalogue. The lead up to the show was such a creative time, and it was wonderful to see what all the ladies created - they are all so talented!
I do have some close up photos of that tree and tags which I will share with you later in this Twelve Days of Christmas Series, but come back tomorrow for some of that watercolouring I was telling you about!
See you then, Kathryn x
