Introducing Barbara Lindsey!

This weekend I hosted a Christmas Extravaganza Papercraft event at Wyreena, and I couldn't have done it without the awesome assistance of my mum, and one of my lovely team members, Barbara Lindsey.

Barbara joined my Stampin' Up! team late last year and has thrown herself into this new creative life, quickly building her sales and recruiting to the Supervisor level in under twelve months!  You can see from this photo why she is so good at this - look how caring and attentive she is!

Christmas 059

It is such a privilege and a pleasure for me to have such lovely, creative ladies, not only as my stamping friends, but building their Stampin' Up! businesses alongside me.

This month, Barbara is looking to achieve her next SU! demonstrator title, Senior Supervisor and to do so, she just needs to add one more team member to her growing SU! family.

If you have ever considered joining the Stampin' Up! family, why not contact Barbara and talk to her about joining her team before this end of this month?

For the Birds . . .

As soon as I saw the new stamp set FOR THE BIRDS, I knew it was going straight on my wishlist! It's too cute for words!

Last week when I was on the Yarra Valley Papercrafters kiosk at Chirnside Park Shopping Centre, I finally inked it up and started having a bit of a watercolour. I love it just as much in real life, as I did in the catalogue!

I've gone right back to basic with the colours - Whisper White, Real Red and Bashful Blue - lovely clean, fresh, crsip colours! What do you think?

I gently squeezed the backs of my ink pads to get a little ink spot in the lid which I used as a paint pallet, then picked up small amounts of colour with my blender pens to colour these images.  Just a couple of punches and a strip of cheerful spotty Designer Series Paper, finishes these off!

Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation

Have you noticed over in the left hand column of my blog, there is a bar measuring points for the Stampin' Up! 2013 Incentive Trip - now called "Grand Vacation" which will be in Utah in July 2013.

I have been with Stampin' Up! almost 5 years now, and this year Stampin' Up! announced changes to how we can earn the annual incentive trip, and how we can track it. In the last 12-18 months my team has grown to 25, which is wonderful, and for the first time, aiming to qualify for the "Grand Vacation" doesn't seem like such an unreachable goal.

The Stampin' Up! year starts on 1st April and runs through to 31st March, so we are now six months in, and as of this morning, I am super excited to have passed the halfway mark, with a tally now of 30,649 points, almost 57% of the required 54,000 points. This is beyond my wildest dreams, and I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who has supported my Stampin' Up! business so far this year, and to congratulate my team members who's own personal promotions have assisted my points tally.

I would love to reach this career goal, and to do so, I need your continued support! That is why I have changed my hours at work, and am now dedicating all day Thursdays & Friday to being available to you for classes, Stampin' Parties and as your Cardmaking & Papercraft Coach, and I hope you will make the most of this by inviting me to share Stampin' Up! with your friends and families.

If you have ever considered joining the Stampin' Up! family, now is an awesome time with the great "bargain" starter kit, and there are lots of events coming up that you could participate in as a demonstrator (even as a hobby demonstrator).  Also the team are creating a great techniques book that if you join up very soon, you could also have a share in, giving you a wide range of creative techniques to try, in a format that will be perfect for setting up your own classes.

If you ever wanted to just learn more about the Big Shot and what you can do with it, or various Stampin' Techniques, why not consider having a Stampin' Party at home? We can tailor the party to show you what YOU want to learn about.

Or check my class & events schedule for get togethers that might fit in your calendar!

Hope you're having a great day, and if you're in Melbourne, I hope you get a chance to enjoy some of this gorgeous sunshine! Catch up with you soon!
