Masculine cards seem to be a difficult thing to come up with, but I didn't have any trouble at all recently when I pulled out a really old retired stamp set with gorgeous sail boats, and matched it with my most used Designer Series Paper - "Elegant Soiree".

I was able to make two male birthday cards and was very happy with the results!

The Vintage Brads also came in handy for these cards and add a nice antique masculine feel.

This set was in an earlier Ideas Book & Catalogue, pre-2009.  If you can be the first Aussie person (not a current Stampin' Up! demonstrator) to name this stamp set, I will stamp a few images from it and send to you along with half a dozen antique brass brads so you can make these cards too!
