Autumn Leaves
Art with Heart Blog Hop - Christmas in July

Christmas in July

When you think of it, there are so many things to love about this time of year. The daphne in my courtyard is in full bloom and smelling adorable, there are spring bulbs already flowering in the back garden, it's perfect coffee drinking weather, today I went out wearing jeans, boots, a red skivvy and my favourite red trench coat with my deliciously soft black velvet scarf that looks like it could have been put through the Big Shot with the Manhatten Flowers embossing folder . . . what's not to be happy about??

On top of that, some clever person years ago, came up with the idea of Australian's having a traditional Christmas dinner in July so that we could enjoy all the traditional trappings without dying of heat exhaustion! Very smart actually, and a great excuse for a family get together, or dinner with friends.

It's also the perfect time of the year to start making this year's Christmas cards.  You're stuck indoors because of the rain and cold, and there's only 24 weeks to go to get those cards in the mail on time!  If you start your production line now, think how less stressed you'll be by December!

July is such an exciting month for stampers and card-makers with so much to look forward to!  For example, this Saturday is time for another Art with Heart blog hop, with a Christmas in July theme. Then later this month I have a Christmas in July cardmaking event booked.  We'll also be doing some very special fundraising this month for a very special little boy. Stampin' Up! also has some super specials this month, so make sure you regularly check my class and specials pages to see what's happening.

Today I have loaded some new Faux Silk ATC's to my ATC album. Check them out here.

These are great ideas. I am a small business internet marketing provider and looking to add blog development to our services. Thanks
