I will be demonstrating the Circle Card Thinlet at Caulfield Stitches and Craft Show this Thursday and Saturday. Come along and take a look. Or, if the Youtube video has got you hooked, you can go ahead and order them in my online store.
This weekend just gone my team and some of our lovely demonstrator friends had the only craft stand at the Melbourne Girls Only Festival (GO Show).
We set up the Stampin' Up! stand on Friday afternoon.
We're lucky we don't have tonnes of shelving and stock to set up and display. We just make our posters of card and scrapbook projects in the weeks leading up to the show and on the day we come in and velcro them to the walls!
Here's the poster I made using the Chalk Talk Stamp Set and matching Framelits.
I'm sorry it's not the best quality photo, but the lighting in the stand and using one's mobile phone to take the pic is never going to make a great photo!
I will share close up photos of some of the cards over the next few days.
Oh, and what do we do on the stand?
That's right! We do what we LOVE!!
Thanks Alison Douglas for sneaking in this action shot of me giving someone a lecture about how to stamp! LOL
At the GO Show we had three prizes of Stampin' Up! products to give away. The draw has taken place and I am very pleased to be able to announce the winners! Drum Roll Please!!
Prize three went to Danielle from Sydenham!
Prize two goes to Isabella from Kinglake!
And the major prize (an enormous hamper of Stampin' Up! goodies) goes to - wait for it . . .
Stacey from Cranbourne! Woohoo! And Congratulations everyone!!
You will be contacted in the next day or two to arrange for us to either drop off or post your parcel of goodness to you!
We had a lovely weekend - very different from our Craft Shows which we normally do, and for which we are also preparing.
We'll be at the Caulfield Stitches and Craft Show from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th October. I'll be on the stand on Thursday and Saturday and this year we are running a Make & Take Class at 12noon each day. Its a 50minute class in the Make & Take Classrooms, and you need to book at the stand before the class.
I do hope to see you there, or at our Create, Care and Share event on November 9th at Mulgrave.
See you in the next couple of days with lots of lovely card creations!
How about $25 of extra Stampin' Up! products when you host a Stampin' party in October?
To continue their 25th Birthday Celebrations, Stampin' Up! are offering and extra $25.00 of hostess benefits to any qualifying party/workshop in October.
That's a whole $85.00 worth of free Stampin' goodness with $400.00 of party orders. How awesome is that?
WHAT IS A STAMPIN' PARTY?
A Stampin' Up! party is a creative event you host at your home, where you invite your friends to enjoy an exciting project demonstration provided by a Stampin' Up! demonstrator (me!). When you host a party, you'll see new project ideas, learn different techniques, make a project, and have fun with people you enjoy--all while earning free products based on your party's sales.
As a hostess, you'll choose a date for your party, then invite your friends and family into your home to stamp and have fun with you. I will help you make it the perfect event for you and your friends!
MAKE IT YOUR OWN
You can expect to make beautiful projects at your party. You and your guests will find that it's easy to unleash your creativity when you have your own personal creative coach there to guide you. Plus, with our quarterly mini catalogs, there are always new products to see and learn about!
Contact me today to book your very own creative party. And make sure it's in October so you can receive extra FREE goodies!
World Cardmaking Day is this Saturday, October 5, and to celebrate Stampin' Up! is holding a contest you won't want to miss. After all, what's not to love about a holiday dedicated to card makers worldwide?!
There are two ways to enter:
E-mail a photo of a card, or of you making a card, made with Stampin' Up! product on World Cardmaking Day to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Post a photo of a card, or of you making a card, made with Stampin' Up! product on World Cardmaking Day on Instagram. Mention us by typing @stampinup and use the hashtag #wcmd2013 in the description.
This contest is open to everyone - demonstrators, customers, friends, spouses, children . . . you get the idea. However, there are a few conditions:
You must be over the age of 18 to win a prize.
You can enter as many times as you wish, but each entry must feature a different card.
Contest will last all day on October 5, from 12:01 AM to 12:00 PM.
We will randomly select 100 winners from our North American markets to receive a Paper Pumpkin Kit and we will select 50 winners from our South Pacific and European markets to receive the Naughty and Nice Rotary Stamp and Season of Style Designer Washi Tape (valued at $18.90 AUD/ $22.90 NZD).

Yes, that's right! $25.00 to join - I know you don't believe me! I don't believe it either, so I am going to say it again!
From Monday 7th October, until Monday 21st of October, you can start your own business for just $25.00!!!!
It will be if you don't do it!
What's the catch?
I've read the fine print - and there isn't a catch! In fact, this offer couldn't come at a better time - because we have the gorgeous new Holiday Catalogue just started in September, and we are coming up to our biggest promotion time over January to March, so it's perfect now, to get your foot in the door and start learning how wonderful it is to be a member of the Stampin' Up! family, make your Christmas cards with your products discounted, meet some lovely new Stampin' friends and get ready for the time of your life!
So, how do I join?
It's never been easier! Decide which products you would like with a total value between $25.00 and $26.95, have your credit card and drivers license number handy, then go to the Join Now button on my website and fill in the online application. Easy!
